Enjoyed meeting many TEA PARTY leaders in Eustis on February 7, 2011. We all have special interests and skills.  My efforts since 2007 have been primarily to organize specific events, express my views and lobby legislators.  This website shows issues that most interest me.  I don’t claim to be the leader of anyone.  I mainly try encourage others.  Even bad ideas can lead to good ones. Experience is the best teacher.

Recently, I began an effort to promote Sunday, August 28, 2011 as a day to “draw a line in the sand for freedom.” Glenn Beck talked about the history of the Alamo and “drawing a line in the sand” on his show recently.  It struck a chord with me and others.  We decided to promote a TEA PARTY ON THE BEACH the weekend of August 26 -28, 2011. We love our country and we want to promote the TEA PARTY MOVEMENT. But, we also want to promote tourism to the Daytona Beach area.  As you may know, Daytona and the surrounding areas are suffering economically.

We are promoting the TEA PARTY ON THE BEACH at Daytona Beach Shores.  Daytona Beach Shores is just south of historic DAYTONA BEACH.  We’ve recently been involved with a business group dedicated to promoting Daytona Beach Shores business.

While we want to help the economy of DBS, we also want other towns and cities to promote business in their community and the TEA PARTY MOVEMENT.  We encourage folks to promote the last weekend in August 2011 as TEA PARTY ON THE BEACH or DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND – or whatever creative idea you may have for your community. 

If you want to hold a seminar or fun family food and music TEA PARTY at another hotels or business in DAYTONA BEACH SHORES or elsewhere, we encourage you to do so. You may offer food, music, education, prices or benefits that are not offered in DAYTONA BEACH SHORES.

Our prayer is that TEA PARTY AT THE BEACH or DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND events will be fun, tasty, educational and inspirational in many communities and homes.  Because of your influence, perhaps someone attending a patriotic backyard TEA PARTY or DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND event will one day be a better: mother, father, businessperson,  leader, preacher, mayor, senator or President of the United States. ... pace
