Tax for Tax - Are tax dollars spent to raise your taxes?

Are our tax dollars being spent by the Flordia Center for Performing Arts and Education to promote, advertise and pass legislation to increase your taxes?  Are tax paid and supported employees of our state, county and school system being paid to promote tax increases for charitable purposes? Does The Florida Center for Performing Arts and Education use tax dollars to advocate for new and diverted tax dollars? How much has been spent to date and for what purpose? Will a Performing Arts Center increase tourism? If so, by how much?  What is the projected annual operating loss for the proposed Center?  Pace

Paula Smith, a member of the board of directors says the center can open up opportunities to put on performances for children that would illustrate Florida's history.  Let's not use building this Culture Palace Project as an excuse for helping children.  Help them now.  Over one million tax dollars have been spent without benefit todate.  Childs High School has a fantastic performance hall.  Use it.  Inspire the kids now.  Let's build on our history. There's no virture in taking from your neighbor for your pet charitable project. Tax paid educators should focus on education of kids not politicking.  Pace
