"As my Grand'pa Peavy was quoted in the Tallahassee Democrat, "Everybody is welcome ... keep dropping by and see what's new."  Chef and owner Tim Durning and his staff Do Southern and Comfort Food Right.  Even though Tim's Crosscreek Grille has been open less than one month, I've secretly feasted and plotted with fellow patriots there many times.  There's always something new and fantastic on Tim's menu.  Gilda took care of me and fellow revolutionaries recently without bringing notice to our cause.  The prime rib, seafood, pot roast and fried green tomatoes were all hot and delicious.  I beg that you not reveal the location of our meeting place or disclose Tim's Most Secret Tallahassee Hushpuppy Recipe.  As you know, Tallahasse patriots invented the hushpuppy.  Tim's are so crispy and delicious; they may be the original Tallahassee recipe.  Tim can be trusted with Tallahassee's most treasured of secrets.  I will be providing him with my Grand'ma Peavy's Original Coonbottom Pilau Recipe soon.  Keep these secrets close; share them only with our most favored guests."
